MEXICO CITY, Feb. 1 (Xinhua) -- Colombian forward Cristian Arango has joined Pachuca after parting ways with Los Angeles FC, the Mexican top-flight club said on Wednesday.

Arango signed a three-year contract after Pachuca agreed to pay a 5.5 million euro (6 million US dollars) transfer fee.

"This is a team that aspires to reach the top [and] ... your goals and presence will help to make a difference," The Tuzos said in a video posted on social media.

Arango made 58 appearances for Los Angeles and scored 35 goals after arriving at the Major League Soccer club from Millonarios in August 2021.

Arango, who has been capped once for his country, is one of four Colombians in Pachuca's squad. The others are midfielders Aviles Hurtado and Marino Hinestroza as well as defender Oscar Murillo.
