MEXICO CITY, March 29 (Xinhua) -- There would be no impunity for those responsible for the death of dozens of migrants killed in a fire at a detention center in Ciudad Juarez in northern Mexico, said President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador on Wednesday.

"Investigations are being carried out to find out what really happened," Lopez Obrador said at his regular daily press conference.

The Attorney General's Office had launched an investigation into the incident, he added.

According to the latest official report, at least 38 migrants were confirmed dead and the migrants housed in the facility were mainly from Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Colombia and Venezuela.
