Focusing on the resource utilization and energy recovery of waste, the circular economy industrial park in Tianjin's Binhai New Area has leveraged well-established environmental treatment facilities to improve its circular system, driving green growth for the region's high-quality development.

With the waste-to-energy plant and sludge drying plant as its core infrastructure, the park boasts a daily domestic waste processing capacity of 1,500 tonnes, effectively supporting the harmless treatment and resource recovery of urban household waste. The park is also equipped with distributed photovoltaic power stations that generate approximately 7 million kWh of electricity annually. (Xinhua/Li Ran)
