Prehistoric caves of Yagul and Mitla in the Central Valley of Oaxaca lie on the northern slopes of the Tlacolula valley in subtropical central Oaxaca and consists of two pre-Hispanic archaeological complexes and a series of pre-historic caves and rock shelters.
